Every Sunday afternoon from 3 to 4pm, SYN broadcasts Rainbow Juice, a two hour show hosted by young people and covering issues related to same sex attracted and gender questioning young people. The Minus18 Crew (aged 15 to 21) run events for same sex attracted youth, to empower them and help them understand themselves. The events include underage dance parties every school holidays, weekend workshops, and monthly social gatherings. Since 1998, they’ve reached out to tens of thousands of Victorian youth, and that number continues to grow. |

Scotland’s largest LGBT youth advocacy and support group have recently launched ‘Challenging homophobia together’ their national schools campaign to combat homophobia. All the posters for this campaign are available on the site along with toolkits for Scottish schools on challenging homophobia and engaging with LGBT young people. Whilst it is very Scotland specific they have an interesting approach that will develop further as the project matures. |

This is a three year initiative based in Manchester that aims to address homophobic bullying in schools. Schools are given training, support and resources. Exceeding Expectations also commission a play that deals with homophobia, ‘OUTLOUD’ which is offered to all schools. The resources on the site include curriculum information, teaching points and every issue of their magazine. |
